We are currently partnered up with a growing Manufacturing company in their search to add an Operational Excellence Manager to the team due to growth within the company. This position will report up into the Director of Operations and the ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience within Lean/OpEx/CI in a Manufacturing setting. Description
The Operational Excellence Manager - Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:
- Lead the development and deployment of the Operational Excellence strategy within the automotive manufacturing environment.
- Identify, prioritize, and execute improvement initiatives aligned with business objectives (cost, quality, delivery, safety).
- Drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other CI methodologies across operations.
- Facilitate workshops, root cause analysis, and problem-solving sessions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coach, mentor, and train employees at all levels on lean principles and continuous improvement practices.
- Develop and monitor KPIs to track progress, sustainability, and impact of improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain to optimize processes and implement best practices.
- Promote a culture of accountability, engagement, and innovation throughout the organization.
Profile
The ideal Operational Excellence Manager - Manufacturing will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, or lean manufacturing within the automotive or high-volume manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills.
- Ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
Job Offer
The successful Operational Excellence Manager - Manufacturing will be rewarded with the following:
- Base Salary of $80,000-$110,000
