Construction Estimator - Ground Up

- Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for commercial projects
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate bids
- Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing
- Monitor market trends, material costs, and labor rates
- Review and negotiate subcontractor bids
- Assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Sage, Bluebeam, or similar)
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
