Superintendent - Education/Commercial Projects

$100,000 - $130,000/Year

As a Superintendent, you will lead all on‑site construction activities from groundbreaking to closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll be the face of my client in the field, building strong relationships with clients, trade partners, and your project team.

Description

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise all field operations
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, short‑interval plans, and logistics strategies.
  • Manage subcontractors, resolve conflicts, and ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
  • Monitor labor, material, and equipment costs; implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Serve as the primary on‑site contact for clients, architects, engineers, and inspectors.
  • Promote and enforce Pepper's safety culture, conducting regular site inspections and training.
  • Mentor and coach field staff, fostering a collaborative, high‑performance team.

Profile

  • 5+ years of field supervision experience in education, municipal, retail, commercial or institutional construction.
  • Proven track record delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency with scheduling and project management software (Procore experience a plus).
