The Paralegal Manager will lead and manage a team of paralegals, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality legal support within a global law firm envrionment. This role requires strong organizational skills and a commitment to excellence in overseeing legal operations. The ideal candidate has extensive experience as a litigation paralegal, and supervisory experince in their most recent role.

This top ranked law firm is highly regarded for their dedication to continued upskilling of employees, and commitment to implementation of top technology and resources. This role is 3 days a week in office and will require occasional travel to the other California based offices.

Description

  • Oversee and manage a team of paralegals to ensure high-quality legal support services are delivered.
  • Assign and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for attorneys and staff regarding paralegal support needs.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the team's skills and expertise.
  • Monitor workload distribution and implement strategies to improve productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards in all paralegal activities.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and improve operational processes.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Profile

A successful Paralegal Manager should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited University or college
  • A strong background as a litigation paralegal, ideally within a Big Law envrionment.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills to guide and motivate a diverse team.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to handle competing priorities effectively.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in legal technology tools and software to streamline workflow and improve efficiency.
  • A commitment to fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
