Junior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations within a fast-paced CPG retail environment. This role will assist with general ledger entries, account reconciliations, inventory accounting, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Description

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions

• Assist with monthly bank and account reconciliations

• Support month-end and year-end close activities

• Maintain accurate records of inventory and COGS

• Prepare journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenance

• Assist in preparing internal financial reports

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, supply chain, operations) to resolve discrepancies

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 1+ year of accounting experience (internships included)

• Experience in retail or CPG industry a plus

• Proficient in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP)

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
