Description

• • • Analyze and enhance current manufacturing processes to improve quality and efficiency.
    • Meet performance metrics related to safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
    • Lead projects for new products and technologies, managing costs and vendor relationships.
    • Gather and analyze factory data to identify areas for process improvement.
    • Document and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality and cycle times.
    • Develop financial justifications for equipment and process changes.
    • Address challenges related to people, processes, and equipment with strong problem-solving skills.
    • Foster relationships with customers and vendors.
    • Engage in fixture and tool design, along with some process engineering responsibilities.

Profile

A successful Manufacturing Engineer should have:

• A strong background in precision machining and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in using CAD/CAM software and other engineering tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A degree in engineering or a related field.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Experience with quoting, cost analysis, and technical evaluations
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings, GD&T, and material specs
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency; and ERP (Plex) a plus
