Manufacturing Engineer | Precision Machining
This Manufacturing Engineer position offers an exciting opportunity to support and optimise production processes in a fast-paced environment. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing efficiency and ensure product quality.

Description
- Analyze and enhance current manufacturing processes to improve quality and efficiency.
- Meet performance metrics related to safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
- Lead projects for new products and technologies, managing costs and vendor relationships.
- Gather and analyze factory data to identify areas for process improvement.
- Document and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality and cycle times.
- Develop financial justifications for equipment and process changes.
- Address challenges related to people, processes, and equipment with strong problem-solving skills.
- Foster relationships with customers and vendors.
- Engage in fixture and tool design, along with some process engineering responsibilities.
Profile
A successful Manufacturing Engineer should have:
- A strong background in precision machining and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in using CAD/CAM software and other engineering tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A degree in engineering or a related field.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience with quoting, cost analysis, and technical evaluations
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings, GD&T, and material specs
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Microsoft Office proficiency; and ERP (Plex) a plus
Job Offer
- 90,000-110,000 depending on experience
