Estimator
A Commercial Construction Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates on ground-up and tenant improvement projects by analyzing plans, specifications, and subcontractor pricing. This role plays a critical part in winning work by developing competitive bids, managing budgets, and collaborating closely with project teams and clients.

Description
Responsibilities of a Construction Estimator are:
- Prepare estimates and proposals for conceptual projects
- Complete assigned project estimates on established deadlines and priorities.
- Prepare clear and effective proposals for review by the Lead Estimator for assigned projects according to standard processes.
- Assist in performing value engineering of new or alternate materials, means and methods of construction.
- Assist in soliciting or qualifying and qualify proposals from suppliers and/or subcontractors; participate in the procurement process, as directed
- Provide estimating assistance with Change Orders, as required.
Profile
The Construction Estimator must have the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field
- Preferred 2-5 year's experience estimating commercial ground up and tenant improvement projects in the construction industry.
- Well developed analytic and conceptual skills. Ability to read and interpret drawings, including schematic and conceptual formats. Knowledge of construction materials, means and methods. Attention to detail.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with Bluebeam, Quick-bid and OST software preferred.
Job Offer
Package includes but is not limited to:
- $75,000 - $100,000 Base Salary based upon experience
