Construction Estimator - Danbury, CT
The Estimator role in the property industry in CT involves preparing accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with experience in construction and a strong understanding of project management principles.

Description
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers and architects to assess project requirements and specifications.
- Analyze blueprints, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Review and update estimates to reflect changes in project scope or conditions.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with the budget and propose adjustments as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all estimates and cost-related documents.
- Provide support for bid proposals and participate in client meetings as required.

A successful Estimator should have:
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and cost estimation techniques.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for cost estimation and project management.
