Real Estate Paralegal
We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team within the property industry. This role requires expertise in legal documentation and support to ensure seamless operations and compliance.

Description
- Draft and review commercial leases, amendments, assignments, and subleases.
- Maintain and update the company's lease database and digital document repository.
- Interpret and enter lease data accurately into financial systems.
- Assist with due diligence for acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions.
- Prepare rent commencement documents and move-in billing schedules.
- Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate monthly billing of recurring charges.
- Analyze rent rolls and financial reports; identify risks and recommend solutions.
- Prepare internal reports, memos, and correspondence related to lease administration.
- Support litigation management and special projects as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders in a professional manner.

Profile
A successful Paralegal should have:
- Associate degree or paralegal certificate required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate, lease administration, acquisitions, or due diligence.
- Strong understanding of commercial lease language and terms (residential experience will not be considered).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with Yardi, RealPage, or similar property management platforms preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and typing accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to interpret complex documents.
- Solid math skills for calculations such as prorations and percentage increases.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable to changing demands.
