Quality Engineer
This Quality Engineer role is responsible for ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards, customer flow downs, and internal quality systems while supporting engineering, operations, and manufacturing teams. The position focuses on process improvement, training, vendor oversight, and part inspections, requiring strong attention to detail, GD&T knowledge, and the ability to work independently.

Description
Quality Engineer Key Responsibilities:
Ensure designs, processes, and deliverables meet AS9100 standards, customer requirements, and internal quality systems.
Perform inspections and testing to verify product conformance using various tools and equipment (CMM experience a plus).
Develop and deliver training materials to support quality activities for new hires and staff.
Monitor and improve processes to maintain high standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Oversee vendor compliance with quality flow downs and provide guidance to maintain strict quality standards.
Profile
The Successful Candidate:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).
4+ years of quality engineering experience
Strong knowledge of AS9100 standards and quality management systems.
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
