SVP, Senior Counsel - Registered Funds
We are seeking a Senior Counsel - Registered Funds in New York to provide expert legal advice and guidance related to the 33 Act and 40 Act, focusing on compliance and regulatory requirements.

Description
- Provide legal counsel on matters related to registered funds, ensuring compliance with the 33 Act and 40 Act.
- Draft and review legal documents, including fund registration statements and prospectuses.
- Advise on regulatory filings and corporate governance matters.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and interpret changes in securities laws and regulations impacting registered funds.
- Support fund-related transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations.
- Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on legal and compliance matters.
- Manage relationships with external counsel and regulatory agencies as needed.

Profile
- Strong knowledge of the 33 Act and 40 Act.
- Expertise in handling legal matters related to registered funds.
- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing fund-related legal documents.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the bar.
