Assistant Project Manager - Municipal Construction

The Assistant Project Manager will play a key role in overseeing and supporting municipal construction projects from inception to completion. This position ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Description

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating municipal construction projects.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including contractors, architects, and municipal representatives.
  • Oversee project documentation, including contracts, permits, and reports.
  • Support procurement processes by sourcing materials and managing vendor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on-site.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status.
  • Identify and resolve potential issues to maintain project efficiency and quality.

Profile

A successful Assistant Project Manager - Municipal Construction should have:

  • A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of municipal construction processes and regulations.
  • CM-@-Risk Delivery experience (Preferred)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • An ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
