Description

  • Support Project Managers in delivering projects on time and within budget, ensuring quality and profitability
  • Participate in interviews and the RFP process to help secure new work and expand opportunities
  • Assist the estimating team with bidding on upcoming projects, gaining valuable preconstruction experience
  • Develop a deep understanding of project details to effectively support execution and decision‑making
  • Build relationships with subcontractors, soliciting interest and coordinating participation in projects
  • Review final plans and estimates alongside Project Management and Estimators prior to submission
  • Contribute to the timely and accurate completion of monthly project review reports and overall project success
  • Collaborate with the project team to prepare meeting minutes, process Owner Change Orders, and manage RFIs
  • Participate in project closeout walk‑throughs with Owners and Architects, ensuring punch list items are completed and all closeout documentation is collected
  • Strengthen client relationships by conducting 6‑month completion checks and 11‑month warranty walk‑throughs to resolve outstanding issues
  • Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients, keeping them informed of progress, budgets, and milestones

Profile

  • 2-5 years of Assistant Project Management experience, commercial experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field
  • Team player with a positive and driven attitude
  • Has interest to estimate change orders, pay apps, etc. but does not need to be able to bid projects from scratch.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • The ability to work in a fast paced work environment
  • Desire to further career as a Project Manager
  • OSHA certified

Job Offer

  • Base salary of $85,300-$105,300 depending on the level of experience
