My client, a mid-sized General Contracting firm near Kansas City, MO is looking to add a Project Manager (with multifamily and/or commercial project experience). Client Details
Our client is a reputable, General Contractor in the Greater Kansas City area. Founded 25+ years ago, they specialize in the commercial and multi-family spaces. Due to growth in the pipeline, they are looking to bring on an experienced and dedicated Project Manager (with multifamily and/or commercial project experience) to join the team. This individual will be essential to their work/projects and long-term growth of the organization!
Description
- Manage all aspects of multifamily construction projects, from initiation to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring adherence to scope and cost controls.
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Prepare and present regular project updates to stakeholders.
- Proactively address any project-related challenges or risks.
- Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.

Profile
A successful Project Manager should have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction or Civil Engineering preferred but not required
- A strong understanding of multifamily construction processes and techniques.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage teams effectively.
- Strong communication abilities for interacting with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to hire, train, and develop a team of Project Managers
- Preconstruction experience
- Proficient in ProCore, Bluebeam, CMIC preferred
- Interpersonal communication
- Ability to adapt to ensure project success
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Projects
Job Offer
- A competitive base salary between $100,000-$140,000 (Depending on Experience)
- Competitive bonus structure, project/profit based. Typically between $8,000-$15,000 in the first year)
