Estimator

The Estimator will play a pivotal role in the Property industry by providing accurate cost assessments and bids for construction projects. This position is based in New York and requires a detail-oriented professional to ensure project success.

Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects in the Property industry.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other project documentation to ensure accurate pricing.
• Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure alignment on project requirements.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to optimize cost efficiency.
• Monitor project budgets and provide updates to stakeholders as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and pricing in the construction field.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all estimates.
• Support the continuous improvement of estimating processes and tools.

Profile

A successful Estimator should have:

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and documentation.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Experience with estimating software and tools commonly used in the Property industry.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
