Project Engineer | Commercial Construction | St. Louis
A rapidly growing design-build general contractor is seeking a Project Engineer to support PMs on a variety of local commercial projects ranging from $1M-$15M. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience, grow within a supportive team, and build a long-term career in construction.

A rapidly growing design-build general contractor is seeking a Project Engineer to support PMs on a variety of local commercial projects ranging from $1M-$15M. Description
- Support Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination across multiple commercial projects
- Handle submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and other documentation critical to project execution
- Assist with managing subcontractors and vendors, ensuring smooth communication and timely delivery
- Help maintain project schedules and budgets while learning the ins and outs of full-cycle project management
- Be stationed on-site or in the office depending on project needs, providing hands-on support to the field team
- Contribute to project planning and problem-solving while growing into a leadership role
- Collaborate with a close-knit team in a fast-growing, design-build environment

Profile
A successful Project Engineer:
- A degree or certification in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of construction experience, preferably with commercial projects.
- Knowledge of project management tools and techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask effectively.
