Staff Accountant - Financial Edge/Blackbaud
Our client, a well-established nonprofit based in Manhattan, is looking for an Accountant. This is a temp to perm role, and the successful candidate will have 1+ year of nonprofit accounting experience & Financial Edge/Blackbaud software experience preferably.
Client Details
Well-established nonprofit based in Manhattan. This role is 4 days per week in office, and offers an individual with 1+ year of nonprofit accounting experience a chance to join a collaborative team at a longstanding nonprofit organization.
Description
This role will involve:
- Prepare Bank Reconciliations
- Prepare Journal entries and supporting documentation
- Preparation for financial audits
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- Two-five years accounting experience including bank reconciliations, journal entries & audit preparation
- Knowledge of Blackbaud/Financial Edge
- Intermediate Excel skills
