Superintendent- Commercial Construction

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead on-site operations for commercial and public sector construction projects throughout South Florida. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day field activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Description

• Oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout

• Manage subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and field personnel to ensure schedule and quality compliance

• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized jobsite in accordance with OSHA and public sector requirements

• Coordinate inspections, inspections documentation, and compliance with municipal and government agencies

• Work closely with Project Managers to track schedules, resolve field issues, and maintain project budgets

• Maintain accurate daily reports, look-ahead schedules, and progress updates

Profile

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience on commercial construction projects

• Proven background working on public sector or municipal projects (schools, government buildings, infrastructure, etc.)

• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and field coordination

• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and public bid documents

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• OSHA certification preferred; familiarity with government compliance processes is a strong plus
