Capital Markets Associate
A mid‑level associate role focused on capital markets, public company reporting, and corporate governance matters. The position offers hands‑on experience advising public companies and supporting a national securities practice.

Description
- Provide legal counsel on capital markets transactions, including public and private securities offerings.
- Draft and negotiate transaction documents, such as underwriting agreements, purchase agreements, and registration statements.
- Advise clients on regulatory compliance and disclosure requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage complex legal matters effectively.
- Conduct due diligence and assess risks associated with financial transactions.
- Stay updated on developments in securities law and advise clients accordingly.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and service delivery.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the department.
Profile
A successful candidate should have:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility to waive in.
- Strong knowledge of securities laws and regulations, including the Securities Act and Exchange Act.
- Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proven track record of working on capital markets transactions.
Job Offer
