Chief Estimator - Long Island, NY

Description
- Develop accurate cost estimates for ground-up and interior projects across retail, commercial, and healthcare sectors.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure estimates align with project objectives.
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and requirements to assess materials, labor, and timeframes.
- Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing without compromising quality.
- Continuously review project progress, making necessary adjustments to estimates to reflect real-time changes.
Profile
- At least 5 years of estimating experience, ideally within commercial or healthcare construction projects.
- Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Detail-oriented and capable of working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player with a collaborative spirit and a desire to work long-term in a company that truly values its employees.
