Description

• Oversee and enforce site safety programs
• Conduct inspections, audits, and training
• Ensure OSHA compliance across projects
• Partner with leadership to improve safety culture
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety measures into construction plans.
• Maintain detailed safety records and ensure documentation compliance.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies to stay updated on safety standards and requirements.
• Promote a culture of safety within the organization.

Profile

A successful Safety Manager should have:

• OSHA 500/510 certifications required
• Experience with large general contractors preferred
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
• Proficiency in conducting safety audits and risk assessments.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• A degree or certification in occupational health, safety, or a related field.
