Legal Billing Specialist - Elite/3E
Our client, an AM Top 100 Law firm based in Manhattan, is looking for an experienced Legal Billing Specialist. This is a temp role, and the successful candidate will have Elite/3E experience, legal billing experience & be immediately available to start a new role.
Client Details
AM Top 100 Law firm based in Manhattan. This role is 4 days per week in office with 1 from home, and offers an individual with Elite/3E and legal billing experience the chance to join a collaborative team at a prominent legal firm.
Description
This role will involve you to:
- Prepare, review, and finalize client invoices using Elite/3E billing software.
- Submit invoices via various eBilling platforms
- Audit time entries for accuracy and compliance with client billing requirements.
- Process billing adjustments, rate changes, and write-offs as needed.
- Monitor billing status and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to client inquiries.
- Collaborate with attorneys, finance, and administrative staff to ensure billing accuracy.
- Assist with reporting, collections, and year-end accounts receivable reviews
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- 3E, Elite or Aderant
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a professional services/legal environment
- Experience using time and billing software
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
