Project Manager - High Profile Government Projects

$100,000 - $130,000/Year
This Project Manager I / II role is responsible for delivering government and institutional construction projects valued at $10M and under, with a strong focus on JOC, IDIQ, and secure work. Reporting directly to the Vice President, you'll have real visibility, accountability, and influence over project outcomes from start to finish.

Description

  • Manage the full project lifecycle from pre‑construction through close‑out on government and institutional projects valued up to $10M
  • Oversee JOC, IDIQ, and task‑order‑based work while maintaining strict compliance with federal and local requirements
  • Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal field teams to ensure schedule, quality, and cost control
  • Lead project planning, budgeting, forecasting, and change management activities
  • Maintain jobsite safety, quality control, and documentation standards in secure and occupied environments
  • Communicate directly with clients, inspectors, and internal leadership, including executive‑level reporting
  • Support estimating efforts and participate in project buy‑out and subcontractor negotiations

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management with 4-7 years' experience, or 10+ years of directly related experience without a degree
  • Proven experience managing both subcontracted and self‑performed construction work
  • Strong knowledge of commercial and institutional construction means and methods
  • Prior experience working on government contracts (1-3 years preferred)
  • Proficiency with construction software, spreadsheets, and standard office tools
  • Ability to safely navigate active jobsites, including lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders and stairs
  • Clean driving record
  • Current OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR certifications
  • Current USACE / NAVFAC CQC certification
  • Professional credentials such as AC, CPC, or PE strongly preferred

Job Offer

    • Project Manager I: up to $115,000 base
    • Project Manager II: up to $130,000 base (flexibility for the right candidate)
  • $600/month vehicle allowance
  • Gas card, EZ‑Pass, and paid parking
  • 10% annual bonus
  • Two weeks' vacation plus six accrued sick days
  • 401(k) with 50% match up to 6% (25% vested annually)
