CMaR Superintendent - Raleigh
Privately held general contractor with a strong reputation across Eastern North Carolina is looking for a Superintendent. This Superintendent opportunity offers an initial travel assignment followed by a long-term, stable role based in Raleigh.

This Top 200 ENR General Contractor generates $760M+ in annual revenue and has been operating since 1949. Headquartered in North Carolina, the company has over 300 employees and a strong presence across the region delivering projects from $5M to $250M. Known for its stability and employee-first mindset, the business did not lay off staff during the 2008 recession and continues to prioritize long-term careers. They specialize in commercial, education, healthcare, and government projects with a focus on concrete, steel, and metal structures.
Description
- Lead on-site construction for large-scale commercial projects
- Initial assignment: 10-16 month project in Charlotte
- Transition to permanent Raleigh-based projects upon completion
- Manage subcontractors, schedules, and field execution
- Ensure safety, quality, and project milestones are met
- Experience in CMAR, Design-Build, and hard bid projects preferred
Profile
A successful CMaR Superintendent should have:
- Proven experience in the construction industry, particularly in managing projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage teams effectively.
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
Job Offer
Up to $120,000 base salary + benefits
- $2,175/month per diem during travel assignment
- $800-$1,000/month vehicle allowance
- Long-term stability with a reputable NC contractor
