Traveling Superintendent | Midwest Travel

A nationally recognized general contractor is seeking a Superintendent to oversee commercial projects up to $15M, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while managing subcontractors, schedules, and client relationships across multiple states. The role offers $100K-$140K base salary, project bonuses, per diem, travel home, truck allowance, and a full benefits package.

Description

• Serve as the primary point of contact on-site for retail construction projects as a traveling superintendent
• Manage and supervise construction teams, including subcontractors and vendors.
• Coordinate project activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
• Monitor construction progress, quality, and safety to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to provide project updates and address any concerns.
• Collaborate with the project management team to develop construction strategies and resolve any construction-related challenges.
• Travel to various project locations as required to ensure project success.

Profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Traveling Superintendent in the retail construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of retail construction processes, codes, and regulations.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Willingness to travel extensively to project sites across the United States.

Job Offer

• Base Salary: $90,000 to $140,000
