Inventory Control Manager Beauty

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Manager to oversee inventory operations for a fast-paced and growing beauty brand based in Los Angeles. This role is responsible for managing inventory accuracy across multiple channels including e-commerce, retail, and wholesale, while ensuring optimal stock levels to support product launches, seasonal demand, and ongoing replenishment.

Description

  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency across all storage locations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing, production, and logistics teams to maintain optimal stock.
  • Lead cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and reconciliation processes.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product launches, promotions, and demand planning.
  • Manage inventory systems and ensure data integrity across ERP and warehouse management platforms.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound inventory movements, including returns and damaged goods.
  • Prepare regular inventory reports for leadership, highlighting KPIs, risks, and recommendations.
  • Work closely with 3PL partners and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Support sustainability and waste reduction initiatives through efficient inventory practices.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of inventory management experience, preferably in the beauty or CPG industry.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, demand planning, and warehouse operations.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and inventory management software.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large datasets.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience working with 3PLs and managing multi-channel inventory is a plus.
