Director, Credit & Collections

The Director, Credit & Collections will oversee the organization's credit and collections operations within the food & beverage industry, ensuring optimal financial management and customer relations. This role requires expertise in accounting and finance to maintain effective credit policies and manage accounts receivable in New York.

Description

• Develop and implement credit and collection policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Manage accounts receivable and oversee timely collection of outstanding balances.
• Evaluate creditworthiness of customers and establish credit limits accordingly.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing disputes and ensure client satisfaction.
• Analyze and report on collection trends and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Supervise and mentor the credit and collections team to achieve departmental goals.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers to facilitate effective communication and payment resolution.
