Senior Superintendent - ENR Ranked GC
We are looking for an experienced Senior Superintendent to provide leadership and oversight on our large, complex commercial construction projects. The Senior Superintendent will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring that construction is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Description
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of large, high-profile commercial construction projects from start to finish.
- Lead, supervise, and mentor project superintendents, assistant superintendents, and other on-site personnel, ensuring high-performance standards and effective teamwork.
- Develop and implement detailed construction schedules and monitor progress to ensure the timely completion of the project.
- Coordinate the work of subcontractors and ensure that all tasks are executed according to project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety standards (OSHA), and environmental regulations throughout the duration of the project.
- Lead site safety meetings and ensure a strong safety culture on the job site, including regular site inspections and enforcing safety protocols.
- Resolve issues and challenges that arise on-site, quickly and efficiently minimizing delays or disruption to the project schedule.
- Communicate regularly with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Oversee quality control and ensure that the work performed meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and complies with contract specifications.
- Manage the daily logistics of the construction site, ensuring that materials, tools, and equipment are available and properly stored.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including daily reports, safety records, meeting notes, and inspections.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders regarding site operations and progress, ensuring that client expectations are met or exceeded.
- Mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development and growth within the company.
Profile
- 10+ years of experience in commercial construction, with a proven track record in managing large-scale, complex projects.
- Previous experience supervising ground up healthcare, education, or light industrial projects preferred
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, systems, and building codes.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, cost management, and construction sequencing.
- Proven leadership ability to manage, motivate, and develop project teams.
- Extensive experience with safety management, quality control, and compliance on large projects.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively manage client relationships and resolve issues on-site.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Prolog) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction specifications.
- OSHA 30-Hour certification (required), First Aid/CPR certification (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to managing construction projects.
