Senior Accountant

The role reports to the Assistant Controller and partners with the Corporate Accounting team to support month‑end close, including preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with the company's financial reporting and results.

Description

• Prepare monthly journal entries for Corporate and various holding entities.
• Review departmental activity during the close process and reconcile intercompany income and balance sheet accounts.
• Support the consolidation of financial data across multiple reporting units, including international entities, ensuring accurate currency translation and proper elimination of intercompany transactions.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and identify any necessary adjustments.
• Partner with global site contacts and Corporate functions (Tax, Treasury, Legal, IT, HR, Investor Relations) throughout the close process.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and additional responsibilities as needed.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (preferred) or Finance
• At least 3 years of professional experience, with a background in corporate accounting and consolidations preferred
• Experience working with ERP or financial systems; familiarity with OneStream is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Team-oriented with a willingness to take a hands-on approach; demonstrates a strong work ethic
