Materials Planner

This role leads and manages integrated planning for manufacturing and distribution, aligning demand, supply, and inventory strategies using SAP, with a strong focus on DDMRP. The role ensures efficient production, replenishment, and distribution to meet customer demand, optimize inventory, and support business objectives.

Description

• Spearheaded the design, implementation, and ongoing refinement of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and supply planning processes using SAP planning tools and Demand-Driven MRP (DDMRP) methodologies.

• Oversaw the integration of demand planning, forecasting, and supply planning to ensure strategic alignment across sales, operations, and financial objectives.

• Applied DDMRP principles to configure and manage buffer profiles, optimize inventory placement, and establish decoupling points for improved material flow and responsiveness.

• Converted customer demand and forecast inputs into practical, well-balanced, and efficient supply plans.

Profile

A successful candidate is someone who has proven experience in end-to-end supply chain planning, including demand, supply, and inventory management.
