We are looking for a dedicated Supply Planning Manager to join our Procurement & Supply Chain department within the FMCG industry. This role requires a professional who can effectively manage and implement change initiatives to improve processes and drive organizational success.

Description

  • Develop and implement change management strategies to support business objectives in the Procurement & Supply Chain department.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and plan change initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of change efforts, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to stakeholders throughout the change process.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Develop communication plans to effectively convey changes to all relevant parties.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful implementation of changes.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate progress and outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Lead and manage the supply planning process, ensuring alignment with demand forecasts and inventory requirements.
  • Develop and implement short, medium, and long-term supply plans, including MRP parameters setup, to meet business objectives while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Demand Planning, Sales, and Marketing teams to align on product demand, promotions, and seasonality.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock on hand, balancing supply availability with working capital constraints.
  • Develop and execute strategies for inventory optimization, reducing waste, and preventing stock imbalances.
  • Regularly review inventory reports, conduct safety stock analysis, and implement actions to reduce aging inventory or slow-moving stock.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials, components, and finished goods.
  • Experience with stakeholder management including reporting inventory challenges and resolutions to the leadership team and cross-functional partners.
  • Collaborate with Demand Planning to refine forecasts and integrate market insights, promotional activity, and historical data to accurately determine inventory needs for distribution centers.
  • Proactively address potential supply risks by identifying and mitigating bottlenecks, disruptions, or capacity constraints.
  • Define and propose an inventory strategy according to the product life cycle and deployment rules (introduction, end of life, product clearing, etc.).

Profile

A successful Supply Planning Manager should have:

  • Strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Proven experience in the FMCG industry, particularly in Cosmetic and Personal Care industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data and using insights to drive decision-making.
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on achieving results and fostering collaboration.
  • Previous MRP planning experience
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to compile and analyze large data sets.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Previous experience in production is preferred
  • Resourceful problem solver who can use tools and resources to answer questions.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to identify problems in data intuitively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible team player who can work independently and with cross-functional teams.
  • Travel up to 15% of time
