Associate, Credit Risk Data Analysis
The position blends quantitative analysis, credit policy evaluation, and portfolio monitoring to assess the effectiveness of credit decisioning and risk controls. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in consumer credit, data analytics, and regulatory awareness, with the ability to work autonomously and communicate findings clearly.

The client is a large, data-driven financial institution with a strong focus on independent credit risk oversight across consumer lending portfolios.
Description
- Conduct structured reviews of credit decisions to assess alignment with internal policies and risk appetite
- Analyze portfolio trends and performance metrics to identify emerging risks or inconsistencies
- Prepare clear, well-supported documentation of review findings, including data analysis and credit rationale
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand underwriting practices and account management strategies
- Escalate observed weaknesses in credit execution, process gaps, or deviations from expected controls
- Use tools such as SQL, Python, or equivalent platforms to extract and analyze large datasets
- Contribute to reporting, dashboards, and governance materials for senior stakeholders
- Support ongoing refinement of review methodologies, templates, and standard
Profile
- 3+ years of experience in consumer credit risk, model validation, or data analytics
- Master's degree preferred in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science)
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar data analysis tools
- Familiarity with the consumer credit lifecycle and associated risk controls
- Strong analytical and documentation skills; detail-oriented and intellectually curious
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
