We're working with a leading New York City General Contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee complex public-sector construction projects across the five boroughs. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity to join a well-established firm recognized for delivering large-scale, high-quality projects for city agencies.

Description

• Manage all phases of public construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring adherence to contract documents, schedule, and budget.

• Coordinate and communicate with agency representatives, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain project progress and compliance.

• Oversee procurement, change orders, and pay applications, while ensuring all documentation meets agency requirements.

• Provide leadership to field teams, ensuring projects meet safety, quality, and performance standards.

Profile

• 7+ years of experience managing NYC public projects (SCA, DDC, EDC, or similar).

• Strong understanding of public procurement processes, union trades, and local compliance standards.

• Excellent communication, budgeting, and scheduling skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
