Public Project Manager | Elmont, NY
We're working with a leading New York City General Contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee complex public-sector construction projects across the five boroughs. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity to join a well-established firm recognized for delivering large-scale, high-quality projects for city agencies.

Known for their technical excellence, hands-on leadership, and commitment to safety and quality, they've built a trusted reputation within New York's public construction community.
Description
Manage all phases of public construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring adherence to contract documents, schedule, and budget.
Coordinate and communicate with agency representatives, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain project progress and compliance.
Oversee procurement, change orders, and pay applications, while ensuring all documentation meets agency requirements.
Provide leadership to field teams, ensuring projects meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
Profile
7+ years of experience managing NYC public projects (SCA, DDC, EDC, or similar).
Strong understanding of public procurement processes, union trades, and local compliance standards.
Excellent communication, budgeting, and scheduling skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
