Product Line Portfolio Director - North America
The Product Line Portfolio Director - North America will report directly to the Segment General Manager based in the European HQ and dotted line report to the North America President. The Product Line Portfolio Director will serve as a 'General Manager' over the product division in North America working in a cross functional global team owning the strategy and execution for the North America market.

- Map the industry and product marketing landscape to gain insights into key decision-making processes, competition, and emerging trends.
- Define a compelling value proposition, addressing unmet customer needs.
- Collaborate with customers to develop a joint technology roadmap and strategize with the commercial and product development teams
- Lead activities from initial customer engagement through to bid submission and business acquisition
- Ensure technical proposals align with customer programs and are consistent with the engineering guidelines
- Coordinate system simulations and verify that customer performance targets are met with support from the performance and systems teams.
- Gather all necessary requirements and conduct a gap analysis compared to the standard product offering.
- Lead customer technical presentations, ensuring value proposition is clearly communicated and aligned with customer expectations.
- Support the annual operating plan (AOP) and strategic planning process (STRAP) by working closely with Sales Directors and other stakeholders globally

Profile
- Bachelor's Degree required, Mechanical Engineering degree preferred but not a must have
- Master or MBA is a plus
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial manufacturing working with highly engineered products in Commercial Leadership, Product Management and Product Line Management, or Business Unit Management.
- Strong technical background understanding compressor, refrigeration, and industrial HVAC technologies including the refrigeration loop highly preferred
- Experience in customer-facing roles working with all levels of customer contacts dealing with complex engineering issues - product system architecture and gap analysis
- Strong understanding of industry standards, regulations and certifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience driving a go-to-market strategy, deployment and execution
- Strong business acumen - voice of customer, value propositions, and customer centricity focus
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written with an open and direct communication style
- Ability to address global stakeholders including the CEO and Board Members
- Ability to manage matrix team members
Job Offer
