Description

This role is a great fit for candidates early in their construction careers, especially those in their second role post-graduation, who are motivated to grow with a well-established industry leader. While multifamily experience is a strong plus, candidates with commercial construction backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.

The Assistant Project Manager - Multifamily - NoVa will be responsible for:

• Supporting the Project Manager and Superintendent through all phases of construction, from preconstruction to closeout
• Assisting with subcontractor coordination, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and scheduling to keep projects on track
• Maintaining accurate project documentation and reporting for clear communication across teams
• Ensuring compliance with project specifications, budgets, and timelines while learning best practices
• Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to uphold quality and safety standards
• Participating in project meetings and site visits across DMV-area projects to gain hands-on experience

Profile

The Assistant Project Manager - Multifamily - NoVa will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
• 1-3 years of construction experience; multifamily experience a plus but not required
• Excellent organizational skills and clear communication abilities
• Working knowledge of construction software and document management tools
• Collaborative, team-focused mindset with ambition to grow into leadership
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities

Job Offer

The Assistant Project Manager - Multifamily - NoVa will receive:

• Competitive base salary of $85,000-$95,000, based on experience
