Supplier Quality Engineer | Aerospace | Mentor, OH
We are seeking a dedicated Supplier Quality Engineer to join our client's team in the aerospace sector near Mentor, OH. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in quality assurance and supplier management within the engineering and manufacturing field.

Description
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards and requirements.
- Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and performance evaluations.
- Address and resolve supplier-related quality issues effectively and efficiently.
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Work closely with the engineering team to identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain.
- Provide technical support and guidance to suppliers to enhance product quality.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation on quality metrics and supplier performance.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards specific to aerospace manufacturing.
- Travel to supplier sites in the Cleveland area with some opportunity for national and international travel as well
Profile
A successful Supplier Quality Engineer should have:
- A strong understanding of quality assurance principles and supplier management within the aerospace industry.
- Background in engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with both internal teams and external suppliers.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.
Job Offer
