Description

• Run the job site day-to-day: lead crews, foremen, and subs to keep work moving.
• Back up the Project Manager on schedule, budget, and quality.
• Solve problems on-site: read drawings, recommend methods, and handle MEP details.
• Inspect subcontractor work for compliance and quality.
• Approve trade contractor payments with PM.
• Keep solid relationships with owners, architects, and partners.
• Plan site logistics and coordinate with PM.
• Drive quality control: inspections, testing, and documentation.
• Track costs, labor hours, and materials.
• Enforce safety programs and lead by example for an injury-free site.
• Manage schedules and short-term plans to hit deadlines.
• Submit daily reports on manpower, progress, and conditions.
• Run subcontractor meetings and attend project meetings.
• Train and mentor field teams and junior staff.

Profile

• 5-15 years of relevant K-12 construction experience
• Experience as a superintendent on 2+ K-12 and municipal projects
• Proven experience managing projects successfully from start to finish
• Team leader with effective communication skills

• $110,000 - $135,000 base - dependent on experience, tenure, and projects
