We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Superintendent to join our clients team in Greenville. The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Superintendent and project management team to ensure the successful completion of construction projects. This individual will play a key role in coordinating subcontractors, managing project schedules, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Description

The Assistant Superintendent - Healthcare Construction - Greenville will be expected to:

  • Assist the Superintendent in overseeing all aspects of the construction project from start to finish.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of work.
  • Monitor project schedules and assist in the development of short-term and long-term schedules.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is being performed according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel on site.
  • Assist in the management of project budgets, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with project team members, subcontractors, and clients to provide updates on project progress and address any issues or concerns.
  • Assist with the preparation of project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and change orders.
  • Support the Superintendent in resolving any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the course of the project.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff members and field personnel.

Profile

The successful Assistant Superintendent - Healthcare Construction - Greenville should have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the field
  • Commercial or healthcare experience highly preferred
  • Solid understanding of construction techniques, methods, and best practices.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • OSHA certification and other relevant industry certifications may be required.
