Description

  • As the Federal Project Manager, you will oversee large‑scale federal projects from award through closeout, ensuring compliance with federal processes and delivering exceptional results. Reporting to a senior operations leader, you will:

    • Lead full lifecycle execution of federal construction projects, typically $50M+ in value
    • Navigate federal contracting requirements, red tape, submittals, and documentation
    • Manage relationships with federal agencies, subcontractors, and internal teams
    • Drive cost control, scheduling, forecasting, and quality performance
    • Oversee field teams and ensure all safety standards are upheld
    • Lead progress meetings, reporting, and project communications
    • Champion successful delivery against contractual, technical, and financial objectives

Profile

For the Federal Project Manager we are seeking:

  • Proven experience managing large federal construction projects start‑to‑finish
  • Strong background with USACE (ideal) or NAVFAC (accepted)
  • Deep fluency in federal processes, protocols, and compliance requirements
  • Track record running projects of $50M+ (preferably larger)
  • Ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and resolve complex issues
  • Strong scheduling, cost management, and documentation skills
  • Willingness to relocate to the Colorado market (support provided)
