Superintendent

We are supporting a well‑respected general contractor in Nashville seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee local ground‑up and renovation commercial projects. This individual will manage all onsite construction activities, lead subcontractor coordination, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.

Description

• Lead onsite field operations for local ground‑up and renovation commercial projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, site logistics, inspections, and daily jobsite activities
• Maintain project schedules in collaboration with the Project Manager
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
• Conduct onsite meetings with owners, inspectors, architects, and trade partners
• Maintain daily reports, documentation, and progress tracking
• Resolve onsite issues proactively to keep work on schedule and aligned with project goals
• Represent the GC professionally as the primary point of contact in the field

Profile

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction
• Proven background managing ground‑up or renovation projects
• Strong understanding of field operations, sequencing, and construction methods
• Excellent communication and subcontractor coordination skills
• Proficiency with field‑based tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain high standards of safety and quality
