Process Engineer | Electronics
Our client is seeking a Process Engineer to provide technical support and process engineering expertise within a manufacturing and assembly environment. This role requires applying engineering principles to solve both routine and advanced production challenges, developing process documentation, and ensuring smooth new product introduction.

Description
Gain in-depth understanding of products and production processes by working closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and operations.
Conduct time studies, review labor standards, and audit processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve profitability.
Review and update bills of materials from a process perspective, supporting accuracy and manufacturability.
Lead process development and support for new product introductions, including assemblies, harnesses, and related components.
Recommend new equipment or tooling as needed, preparing justification for purchases or capital expenditure requests.
Provide training and technical support to production staff, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
Process Control & Documentation (50%)
Develop and maintain process documentation to ensure repeatable, efficient, and compliant manufacturing.
Create and validate work instructions for new or modified products.
Ensure processes meet quality system requirements, including proper documentation and validation.
Enter and maintain labor standards within the ERP system to support accurate planning and costing.
Support engineering change processes by creating or reviewing change requests and documentation.
Collaborate with external engineering resources or suppliers when needed to support production or development projects.

Job Offer
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Experience in high-mix/low-volume manufacturing strongly preferred.
Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar CAD software is a plus.
Experience with machining, automation, or process development is desirable.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and skilled in time management.
