CNC Programming Engineer-Precision Manufacturing-Dover, NH
The CNC Programming Engineer will manage programming and setup for advanced CNC milling machines, including 4-axis and 5-axis mills. This role involves creating and maintaining documentation, troubleshooting machining processes, and collaborating with production teams to ensure efficiency and quality.

Description
This CNC Programming Engineer will:
- Program and set up CNC milling machines (4-axis and 5-axis).
- Develop manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures using CAD/CAM systems.
- Create and maintain setup sheets, tool sheets, and work instructions.
- Determine work holding and fixturing methods for optimal machining.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering plans, and apply GD&T standards.
- Collaborate with management and engineering on new projects and quotes.
- Drive innovation and optimization of machining processes.
- Ensure adherence to quality, maintenance, and safety standards.

Profile
A successful CNC Programming Engineer should have:
- Proficient in Mastercam.
- 10-20 years of experience in custom CNC machining and tooling.
- Mechanical Engineering degree preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, SolidWorks).
- Hands-on experience with Fanuc controllers and G-code programming.
- Strong shop math skills and GD&T knowledge.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
