Description

This CNC Programming Engineer will:

• Program and set up CNC milling machines (4-axis and 5-axis).
• Develop manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures using CAD/CAM systems.
• Create and maintain setup sheets, tool sheets, and work instructions.
• Determine work holding and fixturing methods for optimal machining.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering plans, and apply GD&T standards.
• Collaborate with management and engineering on new projects and quotes.
• Drive innovation and optimization of machining processes.
• Ensure adherence to quality, maintenance, and safety standards.

Profile

A successful CNC Programming Engineer should have:

• Proficient in Mastercam.
• 10-20 years of experience in custom CNC machining and tooling.
• Mechanical Engineering degree preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, SolidWorks).
• Hands-on experience with Fanuc controllers and G-code programming.
• Strong shop math skills and GD&T knowledge.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
