The Design Engineer will play a key role in designing and improving complex products for the life science industry. The Design Engineer role offers the opportunity to innovate within a collaborative engineering and manufacturing environment. This role will be on-site 5 days a week at my client's downtown Chicago location

Due to exciting recent growth, they are adding an experienced Design Engineer to their team

Description

• Develop and refine product designs that meet functional, safety, and cost requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with project objectives and timelines.
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyze engineering data to support design decisions.
• Utilize CAD software to create detailed technical drawings and 3D models.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design challenges during the development process.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to drive innovation.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards in all designs.

Profile

A successful Design Engineer should have:

• A degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• A results-driven mindset with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
