Shell Superintendent

We are looking for an experienced Shell Superintendent to oversee the structural and shell phase of mid-rise multifamily projects in the Miami area. The ideal candidate has a strong background in concrete and structural work, and a proven ability to lead field operations from groundbreaking through dry-in.

Description



Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise all on-site activities related to the shell phase: site work, foundations, concrete, masonry, structural steel, framing, and roofing

  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and inspections to meet schedule and budget

  • Ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and building codes

  • Maintain daily reports, safety logs, and photo documentation

  • Conduct daily site meetings and enforce jobsite safety protocols

  • Collaborate with Project Manager, other superintendents, engineers, and architects to solve field issues

  • Monitor material deliveries and manage logistics to maintain continuous workflow

Profile



Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in shell construction

  • Proven experience on mid-rise multifamily projects (4-8 stories, concrete and block preferred)

  • Deep understanding of structural systems, concrete sequencing, and quality control

  • Strong knowledge of South Florida construction codes and safety standards

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

  • Proficient in construction technology (Procore, PlanGrid, Microsoft Project or similar)

  • OSHA 30 Certification preferred

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
