Vice President, Infrastructure Application Support
The VP, Infrastructure Application Support oversees 2nd line production support for critical Linux and AWS-based applications, ensuring smooth operations and timely incident resolution. They collaborate with development and operations teams to manage deployments, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high service levels in a fast-paced environment.

Description
Manage 2nd line production support for critical Linux and AWS application services.
Drive incident resolution and escalate issues to minimize business impact.
Operate and support application deployments through Dev, Test, UAT, and Production environments.
Coordinate stakeholder communications and collaborate with development and support teams.
Deliver on-call support as part of a rotational shift schedule.
Create and maintain operational documentation and support processes.
Lead service improvement initiatives by investigating defects and implementing fixes.
Participate in disaster recovery testing and change management activities.
Profile
Extensive experience supporting critical production applications in Linux (Red Hat) and AWS environments.
Strong troubleshooting skills across AWS services like EC2, Lambda, EKS, and RDS.
Proficient with IBM WebSphere MQ, Swift messaging, and application servers such as WebSphere and Apache Tomcat.
Skilled in scripting languages like Shell and Python, with solid database query experience (PostgreSQL, DB2).
Familiarity with ITIL processes, incident management, and release management.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to lead by example in delivering high-quality operational support.
Job Offer
The compensation for the VP, Infrastructure Application Support role is competitive, with a base salary ranging from $150,000 to $180,000 per year. This is complemented by a performance-based bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company matching, paid time off, and other perks.
