Quality Tech III- First Shift
Client Details

- Release finished products for shipment by verifying inspection results, certifications, and customer documentation
- Perform dimensional verification for PPAPs, first articles, and in‑process inspections
- Interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T fundamentals
- Program and operate CMM equipment using PC‑DMIS, as well as FARO and Micro‑Vu systems
- Provide hands‑on quality support to the production floor, including measurement techniques and document interpretation
- Inspect incoming raw materials and manufactured components per defined quality processes
- Collect, analyse, and present quality metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives
- Prioritise and manage QA lab work orders to support production schedules
- Conduct internal audits covering dimensional workmanship and documentation compliance
- Develop and perform calibration activities in alignment with ISO standards
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for internal issues and customer complaints
- Train and mentor new quality inspectors on inspection methods, equipment, and daily responsibilities
Profile
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably metal fabrication
- Hands‑on experience working within a continuous improvement Quality Management System
- Strong dimensional inspection experience including PPAPs and first articles
- Experience programming and operating CMMs with PC‑DMIS
- Working knowledge of GD&T and technical drawings
- Ability to interpret data, calculate ratios and percentages, and understand quality metrics
- Comfortable communicating quality information in one‑on‑one and small group settings
- Proficiency with standard office software (Word, Excel, email, internet tools)
- Quality Technician certification preferred
- Associate degree in a related field preferred
