Public Project Superintendent

• Oversee day-to-day field operations on public-sector construction projects including schools, municipal buildings, and community facilities

• Manage subcontractors, enforce safety standards, and deliver projects on time and within budget

• Serve as the on-site leader ensuring smooth communication between teams, clients, and stakeholders

Description

• Direct and supervise all on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to maintain productivity and quality

• Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with company, regulatory, and public-sector requirements

• Monitor schedules, resolve field issues, and keep projects on track

• Act as the primary point of contact for field operations, ensuring client satisfaction and transparency

Profile

• 5+ years of experience supervising construction projects, ideally in public-sector or institutional environments

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety practices, and compliance requirements

• Proven ability to manage subcontractors, enforce safety, and maintain project schedules

• Excellent communication and leadership skills with a hands-on management style

• Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar) preferred
