Quality Engineer
You will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Client Details
Our Client is a specialized provider of high‑reliability power systems for aerospace and beyond.
Description
- Lead Root Cause Analysis: Conduct and facilitate structured investigations using tools like 8D, Fishbone diagrams, and the 5 Whys method to implement effective and lasting corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain Quality Documentation: Develop, review, and manage policies, procedures, forms, and work instructions to ensure compliance with aerospace Quality Management System standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Monitor Quality Performance: Collect, analyze, and report quality and performance metrics through data tracking, presentations, and regular reporting cycles.
- Resolve Quality Issues: Investigate and address quality concerns related to suppliers, in-process work, and finished products to meet customer requirements and production schedules.
- Conduct Internal Audits: Perform and document audits for AS9100 compliance and effectiveness assessments, ensuring independence and objectivity.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality, or a related technical field; equivalent experience considered.
- 5-10 years of experience in quality assurance, including at least 2 years in aerospace and regulatory environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading and executing root cause and corrective action processes in regulated industries.
- Experience with AS9100 audit preparation and execution.
- Military or aerospace manufacturing experience is a plus.
- ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA) are a plus
