Superintendent

We are seeking a motivated building and construction Superintendent to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys managing residential construction projects from the ground up and being part of a collaborative, hands-on environment.

My client is a small but growing general contractor based in San Diego, specializing in the construction of single-family homes and accessory dwelling units (ADUs). They pride themselves on delivering high-quality projects, personalized service, and maintaining a strong reputation in the local community.

Description

• Oversee day-to-day site operations for ADU and single-family residential projects as superintendent

• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and inspections

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards

• Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant jobsite

• Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and field staff

• Troubleshoot and resolve site issues as they arise

Profile

• 3+ years of residential construction experience, preferably in single-family or ADU projects

• Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and sequencing

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Knowledge of local building codes and permitting processes

• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, but not required

Job Offer

• Salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 depending on Superintendent experience
