General Superintendent- Healthcare Construction
The General Superintendent will provide overall field leadership for ground-up and renovation healthcare construction projects valued around $20M. This role is responsible for overseeing multiple site teams while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and in compliance with all healthcare regulations.

They are known for delivering complex, occupied, and highly regulated projects while maintaining strong relationships with healthcare systems, architects, and trade partners.
Description
Oversee all on-site construction operations for healthcare projects, including hospitals, medical office buildings, and specialty facilities
Lead, mentor, and manage Superintendents and field staff across one or multiple projects
Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, infection control (ICRA), and healthcare-specific regulations
Coordinate schedules, logistics, inspections, and subcontractor activities to maintain project milestones
Partner with Project Managers to resolve field issues, manage quality control, and mitigate risk
Serve as the primary field representative with owners, inspectors, and design teams
Profile
10+ years of experience in construction supervision with a strong focus on healthcare projects
Proven experience delivering projects in the $20M range
Deep understanding of healthcare construction requirements, including life safety, MEP coordination, and occupied campus work
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large field teams and subcontractors
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
OSHA certification and experience working in active healthcare environments preferred
